Can I come check out the gym? Of course. I offer a 15 minute block of time where you can meet me and check out the gym if you'd like. This meeting is strictly for meeting purposes and no workouts or nutrition advice will be given during this meeting. What is the first day like? The first day we meet we will spend a small percentage of the time talking a little more in depth about any of your past lifting experience, if any, and also go into detail about any medical issues we will be working with. A chat about nutrition will follow for a short period of time. We then move onto an exercise screening to check your current mobility and strength levels. The way this will be setup will depend on information previously garnered during the intake. The data we take away from this intake session will allow me to create you a program that is fully catered to your EXACT needs after our meeting. At the end of our exercise screening we will follow up with my opinion on where the program is going to go any miscellaneous stuff we want to hit on. If we haven't already, we will setup our future sessions, whether recurring or with the need for flexibility. When do I pay? Appointments must be paid for when invoiced. Members pay monthly at a discounted rate ( 10% ). I cannot set you on my schedule until a form of payment is received. How can I pay? After I send you an invoice, payments can be paid via Stripe through a bank account. As well, I accept Venmo, Zelle, PayPal and personal checks. What should I bring and what should I wear? Make sure you bring your signed waiver as we will not be able to workout without it. Please bring a water bottle and a towel to wipe yourself off if you would like. Athletic clothing should be worn with no metal on the clothing. Jacket zippers are acceptable. Rings must be removed before lifting as its a serious safety hazard! What is your cancellation policy? The following are the separate cancellation policies for both Non-members and members. Non-Membership clients: I need 16 hours notice prior to the hour your session begins or you will be charged for the full session. Membership Clients: Monthly membership allows for a set number of short notice cancellations that can be made up as a separate training day during the proceeding 14 days. This day must exceed your current membership by 1 day to count as a makeup day. Training days not made up within 14 days of a short notice cancellation are forfeit and no refunds will be dispensed for these missed sessions. As a member you can take advantage of the following short notice sessions:
After hitting this limit, any other short notice cancellations are considered missed appointments. You will need to be responsible for contacting me and cancelling the appointment with at least 16 hours notice. What if I have an uncontrollable emergency or circumstance? We all have issues that arise in our life from time to time. When an emergency occurs please contact me. What if I have lots of emergencies all the time? If you can't regularly make it to training, I unfortunately will have to remove you from future sessions to make room for other clients. Of course this is a last resort but I don't want to take your money without the ability to offer results. This is only possible through consistency! What if I no-call no-show one of my sessions? I consider no-call no-showing a sign of someone who is absolutely not serious about working with me. I do not continue working with potential clients who decide to go this route. What happens if you (Nathan Misura) miss a session that we booked? I strive for perfection but I have missed a session before. Whether you are a member or not, I will give you a free session in return for missing the session that you can use at your disposal. |

What age do I need to be to workout with you? For insurance purposes, I solely work with clients 18+. I apologize to those under that age. What about the varying days of the month while a member? How do I make sure I get a workout in if I've used all my sessions? I will charge you at the beginning of the next months subscription as an add on, at the same session price as your current membership sessions price. What is Chronometer? Chronometer is a calorie and activity tracker that I find relatively straight forward. The learning curve is small and the app itself has a lot of options for goal setting and accessibility. As well it is a little more minimal in its design which I think keeps it from being annoying to use! Can you help me reach my weight loss goal? This question depends on how determined you are to lose weight! I am a personal trainer and I cannot be with you 24/7. If you can make some diet changes here and there, its more than likely that you will be successful. However, in the end, you are fully responsible for your ability to hit your calorie and cardiovascular exercise goals outside of the gym. |
